Does Biotene Work Well For Dry Mouth?

By Mary Salmonte

For ages, I've suffered with doctor mouth symptoms. I'm fairly certain that it relates to the fact that I've been using a medicine. Looking back, my condition surfaced at about the same time. Whatever the reason may be, it is a dreadful annoyance! I've consistently found myself in a situation where my mouth is either scratchy, bothered, chafed, or even bleeding.

All of this is really aggravating to me and ends up making for an uneasy situation just about on a daily basis. I am talking in the resident tense right at the moment, however I probably shouldn't be. This is because the fact that ever since I found out about Biotene, my issues have been much better than in the past.

I'm not going to declare that the product works wonders and wholly rids me of the condition, although you definitely get what you pay for provided that you're using it. I'd suggest taking both the toothpaste & mouthwash in tandem with each other, as you're likely to enjoy the most noticeable results this way.

As for the test, well there is an element built into Biotene that is known as Xylitol. Xylitol is essentially a synthetic sweetener & it's used in loads of different things that you've most likely had before, so I'm certain you won't think much of this either.

The Xylitol definitely eliminates the burning sensation you'll usually experience when it comes to other harsh mouthwashes that have alcohol (i.e., Listerine). I think that you'll appreciate the mild strength of the Biotene and you will find it soothing to your mouth.

All in all, my dry mouth is a lot more under control than it is been in decades. This is about all I could ask for, as the dryness is easily controllable to me from here. As long as I take utilize my toothpaste and mouthwash every day, I'm in nice shape. - 30540
